Interested candidates must have the following skills and abilities:

• Create data models (extended star schema, ODS, data marts & external data)
• Create data flows for global SAP BI system
• Create transformations and start/end routines to implement business rules
• Leverage and enhance standard extractors to retrieve the desired set of data.
• Create development specifications
• Create Multiproviders and Infosets for Cross-Functional Reporting
• Design and create BEx Queries with precise Restrictions, Calculations and Exceptions
• Accurately estimate work effort and time estimates for SAP BI developments
• Performance optimization and fine tuning utilizing ABAP, and ability to analyze performance bottlenecks and issues in planning, reporting and data loads
• Optimize queries including usage of aggregates, compression, OLAP Cache usage – including delta and partition caching, read mode settings, checking buffer swaps for tablespace allocations, usage of pre-calculated web templates and appropriate design / modification of queries
• Knowledge and experience in use of BI accelerator is a plus
• Business Intelligence (BI) /Data warehousing (DW) strategy and implementation experience
• Experience as a consultant or in a client facing role that includes acting in an advisory, mentoring and/or lead capacity
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interface with customers at all levels
• Bachelor’s Degree
