BusinessObjects Consultant

Netweaver Consultants
Interested candidates must have the following skills and abilities:

• Create data models (extended star schema, ODS, data marts & external data)
• Create data flows for global SAP BI system
• Create transformations and start/end routines to implement business rules
• Leverage and enhance standard extractors to retrieve the desired set of data.
• Create development specifications
• Create Multiproviders and Infosets for Cross-Functional Reporting
• Design and create BEx Queries with precise Restrictions, Calculations and Exceptions
• Accurately estimate work effort and time estimates for SAP BI developments
• Performance optimization and fine tuning utilizing ABAP, and ability to analyze performance bottlenecks and issues in planning, reporting and data loads
• Optimize queries including usage of aggregates, compression, OLAP Cache usage – including delta and partition caching, read mode settings, checking buffer swaps for tablespace allocations, usage of pre-calculated web templates and appropriate design / modification of queries
• Knowledge and experience in use of BI accelerator is a plus

Technical Consultant
The person selected for this position should have at least 5 years of increasing responsibility for and delivering SAP IT/OutlookSoft solutions with a track record of participating in and leading several successful technical implementations, technical upgrades, and migrations.

This person will assist in the installation of BPC and other SAP EPM tools install Business Objects products, advance troubleshooting of platforms, performance optimization, connectivity, security audits, and similar technical services. In addition, the Technical Consultant will actively ensure accurate and on- time implementation of the project deliverables, and assist the Director, Technical Services with project planning including iteration of the tasks involved in delivery, identification of key resources, timelines and milestones.

The Qualified Individual additionally has a majority of the following skills:

• Direct technical experience within BPC is preferred, but experience with other EPM tools will be considered
• Install and Configure Microsoft Technology stack which includes: Windows 2003/2008, SQL Server (SSDS) Analysis Services (SSAS), Reporting Services (SSRS), Integration Services (SSIS), and Business Development Studio (BIDS) 2005/2008.
• A Bachelor Degree in Computer Science and/or related hands- on experience with SAP/Microsoft technology
• Broad understanding of networking, system management, Windows operating systems
• Familiarization and experience with Internet Information Services 5, 6, and 7, COM+, High- Availability (Network Load Balancing, Clustering, Failover), and Disaster Recovery (Backup/Restore).

Seeking a training professional with curriculum development and training delivery experience with SAP BPC (formerly OutlookSoft) and Business Objects. Generous salary, benefits and bonus plan. Technical Customer Support Analyst

Description
Technical Customer Support Analyst is responsible for efficient, accurate and friendly delivery of technical support services to Column5 and its clients.

General:

• Use independent judgment to address and resolve technical issues where indicated or escalate to the proper internal resource.
• Use technical skill to initially resolve issues with customer’s database, software applications, technical configurations, etc.
• Exercise discretion and independent thinking to make recommendations and advise customers.
• Respond to all support issues by telephone, email or web interface in a timely manner.
• Provide overall support to Technical Department Manager, including but not limited to light administrative work, scheduling, training, customer calls/installations and information gathering.

Specifics:

• Analyze and independently identify often complex problems within the software, a customer’s data, or Server configuration.
• Exercise judgment to determine the appropriate course of action to be taken based on the analysis performed and all possible solutions.
• Take the appropriate course of action critical to the customer’s operation of the software or system in order to remedy problems and issues identified. Such courses of action may include further analysis and/or repair of customer database, Server configuration, SQL errors and/or customer performance issues.
• Document all analysis and actions for all Support calls, software enhancements, and customer training curriculum.
• Perform and manage all scheduling for training, customer calls and installation.
• Ensure that pre-requisite information is communicated via email.
