SAP Analytics Cloud is a next-generation software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution built from the ground up that allows business users to plan, discover, predict, and collaborate all in one place.
Not to be confused with Security, Work Status is a feature that can be configured to enable and disable access in the context of a workflow. After a budget has been approved, toggling work status can "lock" that data so no changes can be made after approval. Working together, Security and Work Status can achieve some flexible data access capabilities. This session will explain how the settings work and can be aligned to business processes to maintain order over EPM processes.
Configuring BPC security is not well understood. Having too many roles and complexities can be time consuming to maintain and adversely impact performance. Too few roles can expose sensitive data to users who shouldn't have access. This session examines what is possible and how you should configure the security to be most effective for your needs.
EPM processes are less standardized than accounting and other widely embraced business processes. This lack of agreement on consistent process definitions makes it very difficult to compare your organizations' ranking against peers.
While BPC is extremely powerful, users often complain of poor performance. Monitoring and adjusting performance settings can significantly improve your system's performance. Don't accept poor performance from your system - attend this session to learn performance basics, including how to immediately improve your BPC experience. This session focuses on BPC 10.x for Microsoft.
When things go wrong with BPC, it can feel like there is a “ghost in the machine” if you don’t know where to begin to look. Attend this session to engage with Column5’s world class team to help expose the inner workings of this powerful solution.
EPM / BPC stability is essential, yet remains elusive to organizations of all sizes. Microsoft Office, EPM Add-in, Analysis for Office, which BPC relies heavily on, is being updated more frequently than ever. These updates can cause frustrating results if various product versions aren't continuously aligned through a strategic approach. Attend this session to learn techniques for avoiding this notorious instability with Office, the EPM Add-in, and Analysis for Office.
EPM solutions are a little notorious for how difficult finding good information can be. The EPM Summit Network is our effort to grant ready access to required information clients need to overcome challenges at every stage of the EPM solution journey. In addition, there are numerous sources we can share with attendees of this session to equip customers with this vital information.

Scheduling books in excel or PDF to run after a data load or at an important time of your process, this feature can be invaluable to fulfill users' needs. While valuable, this feature is not widely understood...this session will equip you with the knowledge on how to configure this feature.
