This month marks Column5’s 10th anniversary, and we are excited to be celebrating so many years of providing top-notch consulting services to our customers. In the end, there are two groups who enable Column5 to have such a rich history of success.
First, we’d like to thank our customers. Without our elite list of clients, many of which have become like family, we realize our company would be nowhere. A close second is our employees. Having the most talented team in EPM on the planet sure makes being successful much easier. Our team has not only sharp people, but people who are dedicated to finding creative ways to make customers successful. We don’t have to do many of the things we do, and we know our competitors certainly don’t…but there is an energy and a cultural mandate to apply our talents to lead the market.
We want to take time to reflect on our progress as an organization and revisit our proudest accomplishments!
2005 – David Den Boer founds Column5, LLC in Scottsdale, AZ as an OutlookSoft implementation partner & professional services company. First employees are leaders from OutlookSoft.
2006 – Column5 grows 10 times its size. Offerings, clients, and staff expands.
2007 – Platinum Sponsor of the OutlookSoft User Summit. OutlookSoft is acquired by SAP in June, and their main offering becomes SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC).
2008 – Column5 becomes a certified SAP Gold Partner, and the strong foundation for the relationship between Column5 and SAP is founded.
2009 – Global expansion begins and an office is opened in the UK to serve the European market. Column5 also hosts its first EPM Summit in Las Vegas, bringing together SAP BPC users from around the world.
2010 – The second annual EPM Summit is held in Las Vegas. Column5 is awarded its first Inc. 5000 award for America’s Fastest Growing Private Companies.
2011 – Column5 opens a full-service office in Singapore, increasing reach to the APJ region. Third annual EPM Summit is held, and Column5 is awarded its second Inc. 5000 award.
2012 – Joins the SAPinsider EPM Education Center events tour. Column5 expands to Philippines, expanding APJ based team of BPC resources. Column5 receives a rare Gartner Magic Quadrant accolade recognizing ability to drive customer success. Column5 is awarded its third consecutive Inc. 5000 award.
2013 – Partnered with SAP to promote EPM to finance audiences at CFO magazine & AFP events around US. Awarded fourth Inc. 5000 award.
2014 – Launch of the EPM Education Series, including the EPM Success Network (Column5.TV), Mastering EPM Workshops, and the announcement of the return of the EPM Leadership Summit in Las Vegas. Column5 joins prestigious EPM group, EPMInternational, expanding ability to serve global customers.
2015 – Column5 holds EPM Leadership Summit at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, and EPM Leadership event in Manila, Philippines. New office is opened in Canada.
And it is only the start of our 10th year! We have a lot planned for the rest of 2015, including two EPM Success Network online conferences, the EMEA EPM Leadership Summit and Mastering EPM Workshops, and more to be announced!
